GADI Exhibition

Opens 2 March 2018

Sydney is built upon some of the oldest occupied territory in the world. Find out how Gadi and its people got their names, immerse yourself in Sydney’s Aboriginal language and discover more about an incredibly rich culture. The exhibition features both historical and contemporary objects and archaeological material never seen by the public. Visitors will also have the chance to witness the making of a new Aboriginal sculptural piece dedicated to Sydney’s Aboriginal fisherwomen.

Gadi is part of Weave, Festival of Aboriginal and Pacific Cultures.
