Live Exhibit staff ventured along the high ridges of the Blue Mountains National Park in order to collect some interesting live specimens for visitors to have the chance to photograph in My Photo Studio, part of the next Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.
In early September, Australian Museum’s beloved Freshwater Crocodile 'Stanley' left the Australian Museum after living for over two years in the Surviving Australia exhibition. Stan was replaced by three adorable new baby crocodiles that are now enjoying their new home.
As part of the front-end planning for a Pacific Cultures exhibition, four separate consultations with Pacific Island communities were conducted in June 2009 to inform the development of the concept brief. These were comprised of two workshops with secondary school students; one with primary school students and their parents; and a fourth with adults. Here's some of what they said.
