Why Learning? Seminar 2002

On 22 November over 50 museum staff, academics and students attended the Why Learning? seminar co-presented by the Australian Museum Audience Research Unit and the University of Technology, Sydney.

The seminar provided opportunities for researchers and practitioners to get together to discuss key issues surrounding researching learning in museums; to provide an overview of some current research projects through sharing methodologies, background, results and outcomes; and to work on strategies towards a more streamlined approach to research for the future, including investigating collaborations and partnerships. A range of papers about museum learning and research were presented:

These papers can also be downloaded on the right hand side of this page. Even though they were published in 2002 they are still very relevant today - don't you think?
