To make use of the limited collection space in the tank area, a second tier of tanks was installed on pallet racks. This effectively doubled the storage space for larger fishes that cannot fit into glass jars or polydrums.

Josh's work involved moving fish specimens into tanks and drums on the upper tier using the large ladder in the lower image.

He also checked the contents of many of the tanks and replaced the old discolored alcohol with fresh 70% ethyl alcohol.

Josh worked on the project from April 30 till May 10, 2002.
