  • Clerk Grade 3/4 - ($62,587-$68,531) with remuneration package up to $75,795 per annum
  • Temporary employment for a period of up to 2 years
  • Based in Sydney CBD

The Australian Museum is a place of exploration and discovery, inspiring responsibility for our world by promoting knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of science, nature and culture.

As Corporate Partnerships Officer you will play a critical role to support the continued development of the Australian Museum. Working within the Corporate Partnerships team, you will assist the business unit to identify prospective targets and implement strategies to maximise the Museum's success in securing and developing corporate partnerships. Under the direction of the Head, Corporate Partnerships, you will be required to facilitate the delivery of Museum programs and initiatives that will leverage relationships with existing partners. Your experience must demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills which is essential to develop relationships with our partners and successfully coordinate associated benefits. Demonstrated experience in project management and an eye for detail will be required to manage the day-to-day administration of the unit.

The Requirements: As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate experience in a similar role. This will encompass excellent interpersonal and project management skills, preferably with experience in sponsorship and event management. Applicants must demonstrate proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, and experience in delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong written and verbal skills are essential to support the Corporate Partnerships unit to prepare correspondence and sales kits written for their intended audience, as well as liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, a comprehensive understanding of best practice and experience in the management of customer databases, as well as tracking budgets and project schedules is essential. Relevant tertiary and professional qualifications are desirable.
