Identification:

Flattened hexagonal shape with six indistinct short arms (less than width of central disc), with obtusely rounded webbed divisions between each arm. Aboral surface has a dark combination of brown, red, cream, green and blue.

Distribution:

Rockhampton, Qld continuous to Nuyts Archipelago western SA; Lord Howe Island.; Bass Strait; Tasmania. Depth range: rocks; 0–30 m
