Australian species of Systenus (Diptera: Dolichopodidae)

Abstract

Systenus australis and S. curryi, n. spp. are described from eastern Australia and Western Australia, respectively. Systenus is regarded as belonging to the dolichopodid subfamily Medeterinae.
