White Shark teeth

The teeth of a White Shark from the Australian Musuem Ichthyology Collection (AMS I.34192-001). The image shows a portion of the back of the jaw. In the live fish, the rows of teeth are normally covered with tissue. Only the teeth at the top of the image would be visiible. The 2.1 m long fish was caught by a shark mesher off Red Head beach, Newcastle, New South Wales in February 1992.
