Image: Threadfin Dragonfish, Echiostoma barbatum
A Threadfin Dragonfish 'coughed up' by a Blue-eye Trevalla (Hyperoglyphe antarctica) caught by a crew member on the commercial fishing vessel Claudarah at a depth around 350 m, Taupo Seamount, New South Wales, 01 June 2012. The fish was collected by Research Associate Ken Graham and brought to the Australian Museum. It is now registered in the ichthyology collection (AMS I.46045-001).
