A juvenile Seagrass Wrasse, Novaculoides macrolepidotus, at a depth of 3 m, Fairy Bower, Manly, Sydney, New South Wales, 8 February 2014.

The species has officially been recorded south to Seal Rocks, northern New South Wales. The fish in the image was photographed well south of its recognised distribution.
