E077010 boomerang, wood, north-western New South Wales, western-central Queensland, Australia.

This boomerang is from the north-western New South Wales or western Queensland area of Australia. The wooden boomerang has a small central curve and tapers to a point at either end. One surface of the boomerang is flat while the other is convex or curves outwards. A lined design has been carved into the curved surface of the boomerang.The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1979.
