Sea anemone glass model of a polyp of a Corallium rubrum (MA432/29)

This model was made by the German glass model makers Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka. The Australian Museum ordered the models in 1879 to complement its marine invertebrate collection. The models were displayed alongside spirit specimens until 1941 and are now held in the Museum's Archives.
