Leading production of digital products at the AM, my speciality is producing online and interactive multimedia stories of Australian communities and country.
The Digital Experience team works collaboratively across Divisions and with agencies and industry partners on development of innovative digital experiences inspired by the AM's natural & cultural collections and scientific research.
Recent projects include the complete redevelopment of the Museum's flagship website, FrogID citizen science mobile data collection tools for scientific research, augmented reality mobile app games and interactive screen-based exhibition experiences.
Previously, I worked at the ABC as Executive Producer (Digital) on an ARC Research Project with UNSW iCinema, launching the online documentary project 'Retrospect: War, Family, Afghanistan'.
I've held several academic positions teaching media arts production at the Australian National University's Art School and the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) over a period of ten years. These roles and Master of Creative Arts research evolved from an early career in multimedia arts developing virtual reality experiences about environmental issues through field work, photomedia and experimentation with emerging technologies.
