Profile

I am currently a PhD student at the University of Technology Sydney and in the ACWG. My project is in wildlife forensics, and is focusing on the illegal trade of short beaked echidnas. I am performing population genomic analyses on many echidna samples donated from a number of Australian zoos, and the information I collect will be used to determine if traded echidnas have been illegally taken from the wild or from valid captive breeding sources. My background and interests include forensic biology, wildlife forensics and molecular biology.
