1. Information on how to enter to win a Prize Pack of FrogID™ merchandise and Fyna Australian Bush Friends chocolate frogs (Promotion), forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The Promoter is the Australian Museum Trust (the Promoter) ABN 85 407 224 698 of 1 William Street, Sydney NSW 2010, (+612) 9320 6000.
  3. Entry is only open to residents of Australia under the age of 18 provided they have the consent of a parent/guardian (Eligible Entrants). Directors, management and employees of the Promoter and their partner, Fyna Foods, their related entities, immediate families, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter the Promotion.
  4. Promotion commences at 6:00 am on 22 April 2020 (AEST) and closes at 8:00 pm on 20 May 2020 AEST (Promotional Period). The Promoter will judge the Valid Entries and select the best entry from each state and territory of Australia (each best entry, a Winner). Each Winner’s first name, initial of surname and age will be published on the Promoter’s website and they will be notified via email or phone within 48 hours of the Promotional Period ending. Each Winner has until 9:00 am on 5 June 2020 (AEST) to claim their prize. If the Prize remains unclaimed at this time, the Promoter will select the next best entry for that state or territory at 10:00 am on 10 June 2020 (AEST) and that person will be the Winner for that state or territory.
  5. Chance plays no part in the selection of the Winners of this Promotion.
  6. To enter, Eligible Entrants must:
    a. download the FrogID activity sheet
    b. then go online to https://australianmuseum.net.au/get-involved/citizen-science/frogid/frogid-competition/ and tell us (in 25 words or less) The most interesting thing I have learnt about frogs from FrogID is……...
    c. The parent or guardian of the entrant must consent to the entry and supply a working email address and contact telephone number to complete the entry process.

    Only completed entries will be valid entries (Valid Entries). Entrants may only enter once. The Promoter reserves the right to remove duplicate entries.
  7. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. There are 8 Prize Packs to be won – one for each state and territory of Australia. Each Prize Pack is valued at A$50 dollars. Each Prize Pack (Prize) contains FrogID merchandise including:
    a. 1 FrogID cap,
    b. 1 FrogID keep cup,
    c. 1 FrogID packet of Snap cards,
    d. 5 FrogID stickers,
    e. 1 FrogID lanyard
    f. 10 Fyna Australian Bush Friends chocolate frogs.
  9. Prize Packs will be sent via registered post or courier to the address provided by the Winner’s parent or guardian.
  10. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  11. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage in transit to the Prize, or for any consequences of the Winner or any of their companions not complying with any applicable laws and regulations regarding the use of the Prize.
  12. The Promoter and the entrants acknowledge that the entrants are providing their personal information to the AM for the purpose of conducting the Promotion. By entering this promotion, you consent to the storage of your personal information on the Promoter’s database and the Promoter may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding the Promoter’s products including contacting you via electronic messaging. Your name and contact details may also be shared with various third party organisations, including Promoter’s sponsors, who may contact you from time to time regarding promotions.
  13.   14. Entrants can only enter with the consent of their parent or guardian Entrants, their parents or guardians who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the Promotion and all entries of an Entrant who are deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid.
  15. The Prize will only be awarded following any Winner validation and verification that the Promoter requires in its sole discretion. After the Winner has been validated, the Winner’s name (first name and first initial of surname and age) will be published on the australianmuseum.net.au website.
  16. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this Promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
  17. If this Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to war, terrorism, pandemic, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or, if necessary, to provide an alternative prize to the same value as an original Prize, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
  18. As a condition of entering this Promotion, the parent or guardian of an entrant consents to, in the event their child is the Winner, the Promoter using the Winner’s truncated name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing the Promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The parents or guardians of the entrant agree that, in the event their child is the Winner, the Winner will participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
