Bench fees and other costs associated with visiting Lizard Island Research Station.
Bench Fees
A daily fee per person covers usage of the Station's facilities, including accommodation, small boats, labs, aquarium system, and scuba tanks and air fills for divers who are qualified according to the Station's diving regulations.
Other Costs
Other costs include air travel between Cairns and Lizard Island, food, barge freight for food and equipment, usage of larger boats, hire of diving equipment, and communications.
