Cutting-edge technology, history, science and art converge in this free, daily presentation to provide a mesmerising audio-visual journey into the stories behind the Australian Museum's 200 Treasures.

In this stunning reimagining of the history and culture of our region, visitors are ushered from the Ground Floor of the Westpac Long Gallery to the balconies of the two levels above. With a bird's-eye view of the gallery below, visitors witness a seven-minute projection using digital animation and 3D-mapping techniques across the floor, bringing to life the history, breadth and scale of our natural world.

Treasures Illuminated was created by AGB Events, the award-winning team behind iconic Vivid Sydney light installations, the annual Lights of Christmas installation on the façade of St Mary’s Cathedral and Parrtjima – A Festival in Light in the Central Australian Desert among numerous other projects.

This experience is presented by Westpac.

Wheelchair access available – enquire at Admissions.
