At the Australian Museum we have created a space just for our ngarang gamarada-niya (little friends). The Tiny Tots program introduces babies and toddlers to First Nations history, culture, educational practices and concepts, allowing your little ones to explore the world around them through music, craft, games and play. All materials are provided and each class is run by an educator from our First Nations team.
Age: 9 months to 3 years, with an adult. Try our Mini Explorers program for children aged 3 to 5 years.
Date: Friday mornings during term time
Time: 9.45am–10.30am (45 minutes duration)
Numbers are limited to 15 children per session and each month has a different theme. Young children love repetition so feel free to join us as many weeks as you like! Parents or carers are required to participate in the sessions with their children.
Why not make a morning of it by exploring the Museum's Kidspace before or after the playgroup and grabbing coffee or lunch at our rooftop café, No. 1 William?
