Only at the Australian Museum can you find a clubhouse dedicated to the study of creepy crawlies. With the help of our interpretive officers, you’ll sort through leaf litter to find and identify insects, then study them under a microscope.

Examine our collection of live spiders and stick insects, and visit the AM’s new bee hive, home to hundreds of sting-less native bees.

Make your own upcycled critter at the crafts station and go home with a goody bag!

The Critter Club runs for 90 minutes. Only 20 kids per workshop; book early to avoid disappointment.

Adults must pay general admission on arrival, and can accompany younger children into the session.
