If you could keep something safe forever, what would it be? An object, a person, a memory? For one whole day, kids will delve into the museum collections, learn the science of conservation and the art of taxidermy before getting creative with our cultural programming staff who will share stories, games and art activities.

It's a new spin on our popular Scientist for a Day program, where children are invited to into the laboratories and collections of the Australian Museum Research Institute.

Drop off your child in the morning and pick up a curator in the afternoon!

Note: Parents are required to sign their children in and out.
