First Nations art, objects and stories contain knowledge of cultural and spiritual importance. The images of, and information about, Indigenous art and the cultural objects on this website may be downloaded, displayed, printed and reproduced in unaltered form only (retaining the copyright notice) for your personal, non-commercial use within your organisation.

The Australian Museum recognises the rights of Indigenous communities to decide how their knowledge is communicated. Permission has been given to the Australian Museum to reproduce the Indigenous oral stories and personal accounts on the Australian Museum website. The Australian Museum cannot grant permission for re-use of the stories in any form.
