You're invited to attend our first Teachers' Advisory Group meeting in the April school holidays, guided tour and lunch included!
One of the highlights of my job is that I get to meet teachers and students from a wide variety of schools. I’ve found past professional development and audience research days with teachers very stimulating.
I love to hear what teachers are doing back at their schools and to get their opinions on what we’re doing with students here at the Museum.
With the introduction of the new Australian Curriculum, the Museum is reviewing our programs and technology. We’d like to develop new programs that support teachers in their delivery of new syllabus content.
Listening to teachers’ needs and opinions is a vital part of the process.
We’d like to hear what you think about our current programs and website and would like to invite you to be part of our first Teachers’ Advisory Group meeting.
You'll spend the day at the Museum from 9.30 am until 2 pm and we'll give you a guided tour and lunch. You have the opportunity to contribute to the development of future programs.
If you have school-aged children they will be given a special tour of our Tyrannosaurs exhibition and will do activities with a Museum educator.
**Update: registrations now closed** Please register now if you would like to attend as places are limited.
If you have any queries about the day please email me.
