bioGENESIS - Providing an evolutionary framework for biodiversity science

bioGENESIS now is a  Project within Future Earth (see

The aim of bioGENESIS is to catalyse the international communication and integrated research that are necessary to bring evolutionary approaches to bear on pressing biodiversity and sustainability issues.

I have been serving as one of the Co-Chairs of the Scientific Committee for bioGENESIS.and am now active as an "ex-officio"

bioGENESIS joining the new Future Earth initiative

bioGENESIS and other core DIVERSITAS projects is joining the new Future Earth program. Future Earth is a 10-year international research initiative. It  "will develop the knowledge for responding effectively to the risks and opportunities of global environmental change and for supporting transformation towards global sustainability".
