Student Activities

Facilitated by a museum educator, students will observe and draw archival specimens in a designated workshop space. The activity allows a special opportunity for students to be hands-on with selected Museum specimens that they may have never seen in such an up close and personal way.

On booking please nominate a particular focus area - rocks and minerals, animals or Indigenous Australian objects as a theme. You may also give the educator a preference on the day for a representational style of drawing or for a looser, more free flowing or even abstract approach.

Sessions with the museum educator are of one hour duration.
