Introduction

The Tamarama Sea Squirt forms colonies on Sydney's rocky shores around the low-tide mark, and their stalked lobes are usually covered with sand.

Tamarama Sea Squirts live on intertidal rocky shores.

This species was first discovered in Sydney in 1909 and was named after Tamarama Bay where they were found.
