This workshop uses the Museum’s vast collection of fossils and reconstructions to discover the mystery of the Megafauna, large animals that once roamed Australia. The session is aimed at Stage 3 students.

This workshop explores what the Megafauna looked like and what happened to them The session aims to link both science and literacy skills to provide the students with an exciting and educational experience.


Sessions run from 11.30 am - 12.15 pm and include opportunities to ask questions with museum educators.
