This is an interactive workshop with a volcanic eruption will look at specimens in the Rocks box and explores the structure of the earth and plate tectonics. The lesson will also show Australian Museum specimens and involve question and answer opportunities.

The Australian Museum will supply information about the experiment and the list of ingredients prior to the event. 

This event is run in conjunction with the Museum in a Box program and includes the Rocks Box for a three week loan period.


Standard Museum in a Box prices apply plus $88.00 per class for the video conference.
