Profile

I started work at the Australian Museum in the Crustacea Section in 1981. Over the next twelve months I worked in several different departments including Ichthyology. In 1982 I was employed as a technical officer in the Ichthyology Section. The position of Ichthology Collection Manager became available in 1987. I was delighted to be appointed to the position and have held it ever since.

Throughout my time at the Australian Museum I have organised and/or participant in over 30 collecting trips and expeditions within Australia and throughout the Pacific.

I've partipated in numerous workshops and seminars and have published written articles for both popular and scientific publications. In recent years my publication effort have focused on the website.
