Profile

In late 2010, I volunteered on the trial Digitisation project at the Australian Museum. Years earlier, my interest and passion for working in a Natural History Museum developed when I worked as in intern for a summer in the Vertebrate Palaeontology Department at the Royal Ontario Museum in Canada.

This short digitisation volunteering opportunity led to my employment as a Digitisation Officer in DigiVol in 2011. I enjoy this position immensely as I am working with a large and diverse group of enthusiastic volunteers who commit their time and expertise on a weekly basis and are making such a significant difference in the way we digitise our Collections at the Australian Museum.

Having started at the beginning of this project, I have been able to draw on earlier work experiences in project management, people management, reports and funding.

I am a regular blogger for DigiVol bringing our latest exploits and news.
