Profile
My name is Ingrid Bennett and I am the Administrative Officer of Australian Museum Members, the Membership division of the Australian Museum. I began working at the Australian Museum in the Members section in 2008 completing an internship here for my University degree. I volunteered casually for 6 months until I graduated from University with my Bachelor of Tourism Management degree. In March 2010 I returned to the Australian Museum for my current position.
My current job in Members has many different elements which makes it very enjoyable. I facilitate the Membership process by interacting with the Members via many different avenues. I manage the Members database system and I am also responsible for the Membership renewals, processing all new Memberships, as well as coordinating the quarterly Members Explore magazine mail out. I help contribute to the running many of the Members events, including our popular sleepover programs, as well as taking and managing bookings for the many events Members run.
