Profile
I’m an education project officer with a special interest in online learning. I create and deliver onsite learning programs and develop new online content for teachers and students.
I have been involved in the education sector for over 20 years. Before working at the Museum I was a secondary school geography and history teacher in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. I have experience in raising awareness and addressing the needs of gifted and talented students in the classroom.
I am particularly interested in environmental and heritage issues and Indigenous Australian culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (Geography), Victoria University of Wellington, NZ
Post Graduate Teachers’ College Diploma, Christchurch Teachers’ College, NZ
Diploma in Teaching, Department of Education, NZ
