Sea squirts (cunjevoi) and sea tulips are collectively known as ascidians, which are an evolutionary link between invertebrates and vertebrates.
The Cunjevoi is a sea squirt found around the edge of the low-tide mark.
Sea tulips are named for their flower-like appearance and stalked bodies.
Sydney has over 80 species of ascidians.
