Description

These large insects are surprisingly rare in collections. Little is known of their biology; adults feed on pollen, and larvae of at least some species form stem galls. Males and females differ in colour and structure, so the taxonomy is confused. This project aims to resolve the nomenclature and taxonomy of this group.
