Description
Recently, there has been an increasing interest in understanding children’s perspectives on their experiences. This is related to increased opportunities to engage with young children in meaningful ways, and to significant changes in conceptual and theoretical views of young children. This project recognised children as experts on their own experiences and sought their views on a museum space specifically designed for them. It provided opportunities for children to consider their understandings and impressions of a learning space and provided important information about how they perceive the space, interact in the space and how they would change the space.
