In early June this year Stan Florek presented a paper at the conference ‘Nawi – exploring Australia’s indigenous watercraft,’ held at the Australian National Maritime Museum (31 May – 1 June 2012). This is a summary of this presentation.
Understanding Balinese classical paintings is the aim of the collaborative research project involving the Australian Museum and the University of Sydney. In October 2011 Siobhan Campbell, a PhD student, worked with Dr Stan Florek in Bali.
