A Scalloped Hammerhead, Sphyrna lewini, at a depth of 512 m, approximately 40 km north-west of North West Cape, Western Australia . The equipment in the clip is the BOP (Blow-out Preventer) and the black tube is the Drilling Riser.
The footage was shot in August 2005. It was taken by a Subsea 7 ROV working from the Transocean Jack Bates drilling rig.
