Movie: Blotched Fantail Ray, Taeniurops meyeni (Müller & Henle, 1841)

A Blotched Fantail Ray (sometimes called a Bull Ray) at a depth of 12 m, the Sand Pipe, Gold Coast Seaway, Queensland, 31 December 2009. The long skin fold on the underside of the tail is an important character used to recognise the species.
