• Smurk - I have a young child too and he will act the same as your children. I would get a pest controller to spray given summer is coming up and my child will want to spend time outdoor. Usually, these spiders are found in dark areas. So, may be an open and clear outdoor area, i.e. without bricks, logs, pots etc for your children to play.
