  • Great photo. These are also often found in Jervis Bay. I saw one with eggs off Bowen Is. at 20m last week. I think you can see the eyes of a baby in one of the eggs.
  • I also took some movie showing the octopus using only two tentacles to move along the sand while the other tentacles held the eggs.
  • Attached is a photo of a blue lined octopus that appears to be carrying eggs. This photo was taken last Saturday at Port Stephens.
