• Teff. It sounds like the male red back as they do not have the red stripe. Only the female has a red stripe. baby female redbacks will have broken white lines which become red later. Males live in the same web as a female. They will only live up to 8 months compared to the female which can live for a few years. They are beautiful animals and I have a large female one as a pet at the moment!
