• I literally just found a spider that i think is the golden orb in my back yard in ringwood east, victoria.
  there is a large on and a smaller one with its own web attached to hers, obviously the male.
  however can i say she is massive - whopping i havent seen anything i believe around 5cm's obviously she will have babies at some time.
  Tried to take photos but didnt know what i was dealing with so erred on the side of caution. I will try again later.
  But is the spider any threat to my dog would he get bitten?
