Maddisonia—a new jumping spider genus from Australia (Arachnida: Araneae: Salticidae)

Abstract

The genus Maddisonia is described from Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia to include three new species: M. richardsoni, M. whytei and M. berbekai. Maddisonia richardsoni is designated the type species.
