Image: Illuminated certificate presented to Edward Ramsay by staff of the Australian Museum. 1883
When Curator Edward Pierson Ramsay left for the Great International Fisheries Exhibition, London in 1883 he was presented with this illuminated certificate. The certifcate was signed by museum staff and is mark of the high respect with which he was held. This certificate (MA181) is part of the Australian Museum Archives Collection.
