Butterfly wing pendant

My significant cultural object is a butterfly wing pendant. The butterfly wing each side of the pendant, is the Papilio Ulysses butterfly, commonly known as the Blue Mountain Butterfly. The butterfly wing is a beautiful aquamarine colour and is inlaid in silver attached to a silver chain.
The pendant is around one hundred years old. It belonged to my great grandmother, Gwendeline (born 1897 died 1968) who was my grandfather’s mother. My grandfather gave it to my mother when she turned eighteen years of age.
This beautiful piece of jewellery has a tremendous amount of sentimental value for our family, especially my mother. It doesn’t appear to have extraordinary monetary value, this is of no consequence.
