At Basabua, Hurley stayed with Albert, a Solomon Islander at the South Sea Islands Mission Station. Hurley spent Sunday taking photographs in the village, including this one of a woman who holds a smoking tube in one hand and a coconut in the other. Hurley noted that the women in this area were particularly tall compared with other parts of Papua.
