Additional information
This set of shark jaws originated with the Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club. The shark was killed by a club member, probably Rothe Bassingthwaighte in the 1930s. He used a hand held harpoon from a surf boat. Killings of local sharks near the surf beach were common practice at the time.
