The poser - Keith Power, Open 2007

While roaming around our back garden during summer I came across this rather large old praying mantis. Contrary to my experience, instead of taking off as I closed in on him, he came closer, investigating the camera lens. Over the next five minutes his posing performance would have been a credit to a professional model.
