The mouth of a Tiger Flathead, Platycephalus richardsoni

The mouth of a Tiger Flathead from the Australian Museum Fish Collection (AMS I.40292-001). This fish was trawled at a depth of 428 m - 468 m off Bermagui, New South Wales in May 2000. Note the row of large sharp teeth on both jaws.
