Image: Taxidermy repair and maintenance laboratory
Before being made into skins, skeletons or other kinds of specimens, carcasses are initially prepared in the onsite taxidermy lab. Repairs to damaged specimens are also carried out here. Final preparation is carried out in the offsite taxidermy facility.
