Stink bug - Michelle Webster, Secondary School 2007

I did not expect that after a morning of photographing mainly colourful dragonflies that my favourite photo would, in fact, be of a type of stink bug. I found this Gum Tree Shield Bug on the underside of a eucalypt leaf and was impressed by the patterns on both the bug and the leaf. It was only afterwards, however, that I realized the most amazing thing: can you see the face?
